The American Academy in Rome announces the 2025-2026 winners of the Rome Prize

For one hundred thirty years, the American Academy in Rome has awarded the Rome Prize to support innovative and cross-disciplinary work in the arts and humanities. Each year, the Rome Prize is given to about thirty artists and scholars who represent the highest standard of excellence.

As a part of this cohort, Oswald was selected as the laureate of the 2025 Frederic A Juilliard | Walter Damrosch Rome Prize in Musical Composition. He will begin his full-term residency in Rome later this year.
